Where to Eat & Drink

For a real taste of the North, spend a lunchtime or evening in one of the many town or country pubs in Captain Cook Country the atmosphere and the ales are renowned! Most also serve meals and snacks, with menus featuring local produce and, of course, fresh seafood. Try a plate of good old fashioned roast beef with real Yorkshire puddings or a Yorkshire tea with scones and cakes. A wide choice of international restaurant cuisine is always available in town and country with generous helpings all round.

The catering establishments listed here are all members of the Captain Cook Tourism Association. Comprehensive listings of places to eat & drink in the area are available from any of the local Tourist Information Centres.
